Website and waitlist information

When you join the Wumlo waitlist, the website collects the email address you provide, the time you consented, the campaign source if present in the link, and any optional breed-interest vote, development participation choice, or relationship response you submit. Wumlo uses this information to send development, testing, and release updates and to understand which dogs and relationship ideas interest the audience. Optional answers are scored using a versioned Founding Raiser qualification rule; they do not promise access or a release date.

The website also records a small set of aggregate interaction events, such as a page view or completed waitlist signup. These events do not include advertising identifiers, cross-site profiles, or the contents of your email address.

Optional responses and qualification

Optional relationship responses may contain free text. Please do not include sensitive personal information. Wumlo limits these responses to 600 characters and uses them only for audience research and qualification reporting. They are kept with the waitlist record and are covered by the same access and deletion choices described below.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in any waitlist email. You may also request access to or deletion of your waitlist information by emailing info@wumloapp.com. Wumlo does not sell waitlist information or currently use it for cross-app advertising. If those practices change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.

Information used by the Wumlo iPhone app

The current Wumlo build stores the dog name you choose, in-game choices, progress, earned currency, owned content, settings, and relationship memories on your device. This information operates the game and helps the dog remember what you have done together.

When you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is available, Wumlo can save a backup of game data in your private Apple CloudKit database. Wumlo does not operate a separate app account system and does not receive your Apple ID or iCloud credentials.

Purchases, notifications, and sharing

Optional purchases are processed by Apple. Wumlo receives the product identifier and verified entitlement needed to unlock a purchase, not your payment-card information. Notifications are local and controlled in iOS Settings. Adoption and relationship images leave the app only when you choose a destination through Apple’s share sheet.

Children

Wumlo is intended for people age 13 and older. The waitlist and app are not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, Wumlo will post the updated policy and effective date here. This operational draft will receive founder and legal review before the public app launch.
